These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PDF Reader app and this website. By downloading or using PDF Reader, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing or using PDF Reader, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. License to Use
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use PDF Reader for lawful purposes on devices you own or control. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, or reverse-engineer the app except as permitted by applicable law.
3. Your Documents
You retain full ownership of every document you open, scan, or create with PDF Reader. Your files are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to us. You are solely responsible for your documents, including keeping your own backups, and for ensuring you have the right to use and edit them.
4. Free Tier & Limits
PDF Reader is free to download. Reading and basic features are available at no cost. Some tools are limited to one free use per tool per day for non-subscribers; the daily allowance resets each calendar day. Pro removes these limits — see below.
5. Subscriptions & Payments
- Pro Yearly — $29.99 per year, including a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.
- Pro Monthly — $5.99 per month.
- Subscriptions are auto-renewable and are billed through your Apple App Store account. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase.
- A free trial automatically converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings.
- Prices are shown in the app and may vary by region; any price changes are announced before they take effect.
- Refunds are handled by Apple according to App Store policies. Subscriptions are also subject to Apple's Standard EULA.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use PDF Reader to:
- Create, edit, or distribute illegal content or content that infringes others' rights.
- Forge documents or signatures, or misuse the redaction or signing tools to deceive.
- Interfere with, attempt to exploit, or circumvent the app's security features.
- Use the service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
7. Intellectual Property
PDF Reader, its name, logo, interface, and all related materials are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved.
8. Disclaimer
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every conversion, compression, or OCR result will be perfect. Always verify important documents and keep your own backups.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Because your documents are stored on your device, maintaining backups is your responsibility.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved by the relevant competent authority.
